# Dunjn at a glance

> What Dunjn is, who it is for, what it contains, what it costs and how an AI connects to it. The service's identity card, on one page.

Dunjn is a web application for tabletop RPG game masters. It is a campaign wiki, a session notebook, a combat tracker and a player portal, built to be filled by the AI you already use: Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any client that speaks MCP (Model Context Protocol).

The idea fits in one sentence: you describe your world to your assistant, it writes it into Dunjn where it belongs, and you play with a clean wiki at hand.

## Who it is for

Game masters who prepare and run campaigns, whatever the game system. Character sheets are compatible with 5E (SRD 5.2.1) and Daggerheart. The rest of the wiki is system-agnostic: non-player characters, places, factions, items, quests, events, religions, spells, peoples, languages.

## What Dunjn contains

- **The wiki.** Typed entities (NPC, place, faction, item, quest, event, religion, spell, people, language), linked by named relations, filed in folders and tagged. A relation graph. Secret notes only the GM can see.
- **Sessions.** Prep notes and live notes side by side in a rich editor: skill checks, entity cards, collapsible blocks, roll tables. A summary per session. The AI can write section by section without overwriting the rest.
- **Combat.** Encounter difficulty analysis before the game, then initiative order and hit points during the game.
- **Players.** Character sheets, a free player portal that shows only what the GM makes visible, a campaign calendar and timeline.
- **The MCP server.** Some fifty read and write tools and six prompts, described exactly in [MCP tools and prompts](/en/docs/mcp-tools-and-prompts/).

## How an AI connects

Dunjn is a remote MCP server at `https://app.dunjn.io/api/mcp/v1`. Clients that support remote servers connect through OAuth 2.1; the others use a personal API key in a Bearer header. The full procedure is in [Connect an AI to Dunjn](/en/docs/connect-an-ai/).

Your client's model does the writing. Dunjn generates nothing itself, consumes no AI credits and bills none.

## What it costs

Three monthly plans, no free plan. A 30-day trial on every plan, no credit card.

| Plan | Price | Campaigns | Image storage |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Artificer | €5 per month | 3 | 1 GB |
| Wizard | €9 per month | 6 | 3 GB |
| Archmage | €19 per month | unlimited | 5 GB |

MCP access and the six prompts are included in every plan. When the trial ends, your data is kept; you pick a plan to reopen your campaigns.

## Your data

- Your creations are 100% yours. Dunjn claims no rights over them, trains no model on your content and does not sell it.
- Data hosted in Europe, daily backup.
- A connected AI reads your campaigns with your own account at its provider. What that provider does with the data is governed by its terms.
- You can get your data out whenever you like, for instance by asking your AI to read it through MCP. Deleting your account erases your data, as described in the [privacy policy](/en/privacy/).

## Languages

Interface and documentation in French and English.
